IPA Soap with Rhassoul Clay (Shampoo, Shaving and Body Soap 3-in-1 )
Ever heard of beer soap?! I created a rich, creamy and luxurious lather soap made from IPA beer! IPA Beer is made with hops and is known to soothe, nourish and soften irritated skin. The properties and benefits of this herb become part of the soap. I also added rhassoul clay to this recipe which is known for detoxifying your skin, conditioning and smoothing your hair, as well as healing and hydrating dry scalps.
IPA Beer soap can be used as a shampoo, body and shaving bar. The recipe is simple and you can't go wrong with this blend! It will leave your hair shiny and soft!
Note: After washing your hair with a shampoo bar, it's helpful to follow with a vinegar rinse to smooth the cuticle, add shine and help restore your hair's pH.
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is most often recommended, since it's less processed and contains an assortment of trace nutrients, but you can use white vinegar in a pinch. (You can also infuse your vinegar with flowers and herbs for extra benefits).
How to use it:
Mix 2 to 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with 16 ounces of water. After shampooing and conditioning, pour the mixture over your hair evenly, working into your scalp. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. Rinse it out. Done.
Soap bars are eco-friendly! Less packaging and less waste.
